Hilde has collaborated with Mikkel Gaup on yoiks, performed at the Northern Lights Cathedral alongside Lars Bremnes in support of refugees, and staged a concert in front of Parliament fueled by her impassioned commitment to Nature and the Environment.
In her performances across the North, she has encountered a rich and vibrant musical landscape, inspiring her upcoming album SOUND OF FREYA, released on June 4th 2022.
Drawing upon the evocative poetry of northern Norwegian lyricist Anita Adiana Boucht, Hilde has crafted most of the album's songs.
In "Sound of Freya," Hilde teams up with Piera Jovnna Somby, infusing the track with a touch of New Age as she builds upon Somby's "Trip Hop Joik."
Continuing in the Americana and Country-Folk vein of her previous album, "Moods Change," Hilde incorporates acoustic instrumentation with elements from Pan Studio and traditional Sami yoik.
The album features a lineup of top studio musicians, including Børge Petersen-Øverleir on guitars, Jørun Bøgeberg on bass, Paolo Vinaccia on drums, and more.
For the duet "Moments," Hilde collaborates with a well known artist - Øyvind Elgenes (Elg).
Arranged, Produced and Mixed at wonderful Pan Studio, Skjetten - and mastered by Peer Espen Ursfjord, the album showcases Hilde's prowess as a songwriter within the Americana genre, blending elements of country, roots-rock, folk, and more with her signature acoustic sound.
